Up until now horses have been trained using pressure and release techniques.  These techniques have been affective but now with NutriBit there is an additional tool for training horses; a tool so effective that students of natural horsemanship will want to make it part of their horse equipment.
For years dogs and circus animals have been successfully trained using oral positive reinforcements in conjunction with pressure and release techniques. Pavlov, the Russian scientist, discovered years ago that animals could be conditioned or trained to reach a desired consequence by providing a consistent incentive for a repeated occurrence.

An example of this is when you feed your horse morning and evening.  Each time you enter the barn the horse whinnies.  This is because he gets fed after you enter the barn.  In addition, if the sound of door opening accompanies this occurrence then the sound of the opening door will trigger  a whinny from the hungry horse.

Combining pressure and release techniques with oral positive reinforcements makes learning fun for your horse- not all just being pushed around to achieve results.  Training is still initiated with a cue but when the desired response is returned it is immediately rewarded through the bit- while still in the saddle.

The combination of both techniques brings faster results, increased retention, and consistent desired behavior.
